The Welwyn 10K is a scenic road race held to raise money for local projects and charities that takes place in the rural and picturesque setting of Welwyn village in Hertfordshire.
It is suitable for all standards of runner because its outstanding scenery and friendly village setting. Unfortunately, the course is not suitable for wheelchairs. This year the race will take place on Sunday 26th June 2016; the final day of Welwyn Festival Week! The 10km race starts at 11am from Singlers Marsh and will be chip-timed. There is a maximum capacity of 400 runners and these sold out early last year. There are no entries on the day for the 10km.
2km Family Fun Run starts at 11.10am and is an off-road, circular run on fields/good footpaths. It is ideal for families and suitable for both runners and walkers of ALL ages. To enter please bring a filled out entry form that can be found on the “entries/results” page to the registration desk on the day of the race with your £2 entry fee
