Will the roads be closed?

Yes, roads will be closed for vehicles but runners are reminded to look out for other road users, including cyclists, horse riders, pedestrians and emergency vehicles.

How do I collect my race number?

Race numbers and timing chips between 9am and 10.45am on race day from the registration desk on Singler’s Marsh.

Can someone else collect my race number for me?

Yes. However transfers are not allowed unless race officials are given at least seven days notice.

When will I get a race pack? 

Runners will not be posted a race pack. Entrants must collect their number and race chip at registration on race day.

Will there be entries on the day?

There will be no entries on the day. Please register online in advance.

Is there a time cut off?

Runners should finish by 12.30pm when roads will reopen to the public. If you think it will take you longer to complete the route please contact organisers in advance of race day. If you are new to running and need any help or support with training then www.gardencityrunners.org.uk will be happy to help out, in line with the prevailing Covid guidance.

Can I wear an iPod/MP3 player/headphones?

No. For safety reason, please do not wear any audio equipment whilst running, or you will be disqualified.

How will I get my t-shirt?

The t-shirts will be available to collect at the finish line. We will accommodate a range of sizes

Will there be entries on the day?

No, all entries much be purchased in advance, but you can enter online until 3 July 2021. We would encourage to book your place early, so that we can plan for the t-shirts.

Is there an age limit?

All entrants must be over 15 on race day to compete.

Can I run with my dog?

No; our event insurance does not allow for runners or walkers with dogs – sorry!

Are you providing toilets and water stations?

Toilets will be located at the race village on Singler’s Marsh. Two water stations will be available on the course. 

Where should I park?
We would encourage you to walk, run and cycle to the event where possible. Car parking will be available locally on the morning of the event. Further information will be available closer to race day.  Please do not park inconsiderately or in the Church car park.
