FAQs

How do I collect my race number?

Race numbers and timing chips should be collected on the race day from 8am at the registration desk near the start and finish area in Panshanger Park.

Can someone else collect my race number for me?

Yes. Transfer of your place is allowed by following the instructions in your email confirmation.

When will I get a race pack?

Runners will not be posted a race pack. Entrants must collect their number and race chip at registration on race day.

Will there be entries on the day?

Entries can be made on the day if spaces are still available but if possible please do register online in advance. All entries on the day must be made online.

Is there a time cut off?

Runners should finish by 11.30am. If you think it will take you longer to complete the route please contact organisers in advance of race day. If you are new to running and need any help or support with training then www.gardencityrunners.org.uk will be happy to help out.

Can I wear an iPod/MP3 player/headphones?

No. For safety reasons, please do not wear any audio equipment whilst running, or you will be disqualified.

Is there an age limit?

All entrants must be over 15 to take part in the 10k event. Children aged 4 to 14 can take part in our 2k fun run, starting at 09.45.

Can I run with my dog?

No; our event insurance does not allow for runners or walkers with dogs – sorry!

Are you providing toilets and water stations?

Toilets will be located at the start and finish area race village in Panshanger Park. Two water stations will be available on the course.

Where should I park?
We would encourage you to walk, run and cycle to the event where possible. Car parking will be available on site within close proximity of the start and finish area. Further information will be available closer to race day.
